1. Who these terms are between

These terms are between you, the business using Staranker, and Staranker. By creating an account, connecting a Google Business Profile or accepting a quote for review removal, you agree to them.

2. What Staranker does

Staranker reads the publicly available reviews on the Google Business Profile you connect, analyses them, and gives you tools to collect feedback, monitor competitors, receive alerts and model your rating. Staranker also offers a separate, optional service that files removal cases for reviews that appear to breach Google's published content policies.

Staranker is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of Google. Google, Google Maps and Google Business Profile are trademarks of Google LLC. We have no privileged access to Google systems and no ability to compel any outcome. Google alone decides whether a review is removed.

3. What Staranker does not do

• We never ask for, receive or store your Google account credentials, and we make no changes to your listing.
• We do not write, buy, solicit or incentivise public reviews on your behalf.
• We do not prevent any customer from leaving a public review. A link to your Google listing remains visible on every private feedback page we serve.
• We do not remove genuine reviews that do not breach Google's content policies.

4. Your account

You confirm that you own, manage or are authorised to act for each business listing you connect. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the activity of anyone you give access to.

5. Subscriptions and billing

The Free plan is free and does not expire. Pro is billed monthly in US dollars, per connected business listing, in advance. Add-ons are billed on the same cycle. Prices shown on the website are current at the time of purchase and may change with notice before your next renewal.

You can cancel at any time from the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, after which the account returns to the Free plan. We do not provide partial refunds for unused time on a monthly subscription unless required by law.

6. The review removal service

Review removal is a separate, optional service quoted per review. The eligibility check is free. The fee of $100 USD per review is charged only when the review is removed, and if a review we were paid for is still publicly visible when the case closes, you receive a full refund for that review. Removal timeframes depend on Google and cannot be guaranteed.

7. Data sources and accuracy

Review data is collected from publicly visible Google listings through automated collection, and competitor listings are refreshed on a weekly cycle. Sync timing, availability and completeness depend on the source. AI generated analysis, including staff and dish mentions, sentiment, themes and policy flags, is provided as guidance and can be wrong. Treat it as a signal to check, not a fact to act on blindly, particularly where a person is named.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Staranker to harass anyone, to misrepresent your business, to connect a listing you have no right to, or to attempt to gather data on businesses for any purpose other than legitimate competitive benchmarking.

9. Availability

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, third party outages and changes made by Google can all affect the service.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost revenue, lost bookings or changes in search ranking. Nothing here excludes any right you have under consumer law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why where we are able to.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Staranker is registered. Insert the governing jurisdiction and registered entity details here before launch.
